Jesus, My Risen Savior,
Surely, it is You who beckons me! The
urge to awaken surges up, lifting my thoughts, and finally lifting me
out of sleep into consciousness. I am aware of your presence. No longer shrouded in darkness, the atmosphere is charged with urgency, of the ripening
of time.
I chose not to turn away from this confrontation. The hour is come. O Lord, awaken me thoroughly! Bring me to full awareness of this season and time, and all that you have called me to do. I open my spirit to receive your will, your desire.

13: 11-12
Do
this,
knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from
sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we first believed.
The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore let us lay
aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.
