Pray for unity.
Lord Jesus,
All who come to The Father come through you, and not by any way of our own devising. In this we are all equal; there is nothing within any of us that allows us to come to The Father apart from faith in you.
None, apart from you, Lord, is able to stand before him on their own merit. We all equally depend on the cleansing sacrifice you made that allows us to approach our loving Father, clothed in your purity, washed by your blood, adopted as though natural born children by The Father.
You paid the price for forgiveness of sins of the whole world, so we could enjoy the love of our Father in heaven.
What an incredible miracle You have done, Jesus! You have brought us all together, as one! And it wasn't your idea alone, it was the plan designed by Father God, willingly agreed upon by you, so we could all be united as one family through the power of your Spirit!
In light of that, what quibbles are worthy of dissension? What small offense we suffer should be allowed to create a rift among your children of light and love? What accidental error is worthy of breaking the bond of peace you sacrificed to create? Let there be none, Lord! None!
I plead with you, Jesus, dress us in your clean garments, clothe us in your pure love, knit us together in humble, harmonious agreement to live in peace with each other, as you have taught.
May it be so, to honor your name above all names, King Jesus. Amen
