Today we begin a month of deepening our prayer life. I know I will be changed somehow by the end of this 31 Days of Prayer and Praise!

I'll share a scripture each day and a short prayer on it's topic.
I'm ready! Are you?

My foundational scripture is Philippians 4:4-7 Always rejoice! Always! Let everyone see how cooperative are, since you know The Lord is nearby. Nothing is worth stressing over. Instead pray your way through it, humbly asking for what you need, with thankfulness for all God has done and is doing for you. When you do this, the peace of God that is impossible to explain will protect your heart and mind. -SPS.(Sandy's Paraphrase of Scripture, lol!)

Dear Jesus, my Savior and Friend, How good you are! 

I celebrate your goodness and mercy to me,shown in so many ways already, through out my life. And yet I ask; remake me in your image.

Teach me to walk through each day hand in hand with you through all situations. Make me aware of your nearness, so I will call on you instead of depending only on my own limited resources to deal with difficult situations and concerns.

Thank you for hearing me and answering my request. I know this is what you want for me, too, and you will not hold back any good thing from me, your beloved child.
