Lord Jesus,
I confess, my head and my heart don't
always agree. My desires are at odds with logic and prudence. I am often torn on which way to go, what to
pursue. - -Apart from you! There's no question that with every
fiber of my being, I desire with my all heart, my mind, my soul, to
passionately pursue a deeper relationship with you. Let this passionate desire grow and deepen.
Thank you, Holy Spirit, for meeting me
where I am right now, scattered, mixed, confused, distracted. Lead me
gently into agreement with your desires for me. Your dreams and plans for me are far better than I've imagined, because they are born out of the depths of The Father's endless love. I want to be so
united with You that we become completely aligned in everything we dream of, everything You and I long for.
For when I agree with you perfectly,
You give me perfect contentment, peace, satisfaction, joy in seeing your
purposes accomplished, and the kingdom of God more evident in the
earth! AMEN.
Many are the plans
in a person's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that always
prevails!
