Beautiful, Risen Savior,
My dreams and desires wrestle in me, bound up by this flesh and blood existence. Who am I? These big dreams can't possibly be for me, can they?
It makes me feel like I'm trapped in a drab cocoon, wrapped like a shroud around the expansive, colorful creature you destined me to be. And at my lowest times I felt like the cocoon was me.
Release me from those dark thoughts! Stretch out the wings of my heart and my spirit. Teach me to hope and dream in YOU. Release my heart to soar with you, as high as you will take me.
By your Holy Spirit, I proclaim FREEDOM. I am free from the past. I am free from fear. I am free from sin, by the cleansing of your precious blood. My heart is unfurled in you!
Your plans, your dreams for me are beautiful, and I embrace them! Show me your heart, Jesus. AMEN.
Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that always prevails!
